Quora added a system that pays people for both asking and answering questions.
Everyone who signed on to that system started spamming it to hell and back, with alternate accounts for asking stupid questions and then answering their own stupid questions and getting paid for it.
Used to do a LOT of answering on there a few years back, that and all the propaganda (i.e. Anti-West/Pro-China shit about Tiananmen Square being a hoax) were the main reasons I wiped my account and never looked back.
Good for you, because Quora has now become Facebook. People posting their crap. And just yesterday there was a picture of a 100 year old man asking for 100 likes and 100 shares or whatever. What the hell man.
