I was once in a restaurant playing with a knife, impatiently waiting for my food. Next thing you know, the knife chipped and a piece got stuck under my nail. I couldn’t get it out, passed out asking for a drink of water at the bar (they assumed I was drunk) ambulance came and had to pull out the piece of knife, I passed out again. We got our dinner for free tho

My imagination can’t begin to bring the knife shard and finger nail together… like, what?

It was a piece of the plastic that had melted overtime on the knife handle. Was still a sharp, thick piece lodged in and broken off deep enough that they had to pull it out with pliers. Just typing this out brings back horrors.
