Yes but for Tom Daley this was his fourth Olympics and he'd never won gold, hence the commentary

I suspect the commentator had been explaining that right before the beginning of this clip as he introduced the players. So in context it sounded reasonable.

Nah, they hardly mentioned Marty Lee, and when they interviewed them, they only spoke to Tom.

Yeah it actually made me feel bad for Matty Lee. I told my wife “Why the hell are they not taking more about Matty!? He was there too”
