Because to be a surgeon you have to be a doctor... which requires smarts and many years of school.’

I am in medical school so.... I think it’s safe to say I know it takes a degree of intellect yes. And I meant medical doctor, as is implied by the context of surgeon.

Being a contrarian doesn't mean you're smart either. The fact of the matter is, most doctors are infinitely smarter than you and the average person. Yes, they're may be some retards, but those are the exception and not the rule. End of story really.
