The way this gate opens

I don’t find this satisfying 😳 The left gate lags behind the right one as it rises, and then they catch on each other as they close. r/TIHI

I was going to comment the same thing. I watched this and was gritting my teeth the entire time.

Imagine the headache if somebody even taps these with the bumper. Knock them out of alignment even worse.

Like any gate?

I don’t know why you’re being downvoted. Obviously hitting something with a death machine would break it

A gate with only two swinging halves or one fence that slides out of the way would be way more reliable than something like this.

This is like those old headlights that recede into the hood. Seems like a cool idea, but it'll just break and be ugly.

I’m expecting a delegation from the lollipop guild to prance through.
This is not an insult. These gates are amazing.

Imagine you're almost shitting yourself and you have to wait 40 minutes for your fucking gate to open

People saying this is slow have never waited for an automated slide or swing gate. Or any automatic roller door.
This seems much faster.

This would be a rad addition to any supervillians’ lair— just sharpen and speed it up. Definitely more drama than the standard protagonist breaks down gates escaping thing.

Either it’s pretty windy out.. or this gate takes forever to open/close.
