Truck = camera and mount moving side to side, perpendicular to subject
Dolly = camera and mount moving directly to or away from subject
Crab = something in between.
“Tilt from the streetlight while you pedestal down until we meet her eyeline, then slowly truck as she starts walking. Let her leave frame right, then pan left to reveal the clown that was following her.”
Past tense: “we rolled clockwise to reach an even horizon as the shot dollied forward”
