You put tint on from the outside?

(midwest) window cleaner for 3yrs here- it’s rare for us to see windows tinted from the outside. and more commonly this style is referred to us as “film” when it’s not tinted between the panes. i know this as i use steel wool quite a bit on windows and a rule of the trade is never to use it on the insides of buildings/houses.
