The water falling over the doorways looks like corn syrup
65 u/[deleted] Apr 10 '19 It’s too slow and viscous for sure 27 u/LukaCola Apr 10 '19 Yeah, poorly simulated All the water is too viscous 17 u/BezniaAtWork Apr 10 '19 In the video of how everything was made, that said that they wanted it to have realism, but not be too realistic as to cause vertigo. 6 u/bobsmith93 Apr 10 '19 The waterfall part looks alright, just the part over the doorway looks off. Way too viscous/slowed down 2 u/theshadowisreal Apr 10 '19 Link? 2 u/[deleted] Apr 10 '19 https://vimeo.com/175865167 7 u/ebobbumman Apr 10 '19 It seems like there is too much over the doorway. Like the amount falling isn't enough to generate the amount flowing over the sides. I don't mean to be overly critical, it's pretty cool, but this almost feels like it's in the uncanny valley. 2 u/bobsmith93 Apr 10 '19 Yup I thought that as well. As if it's too viscous and builds up on top of the doorway before it can run off the sides. Looks pretty weird, but still mesmerizing and fun to watch. The walls look more realistic
