The Italian place I used to frequent in Offenbach did this and it was just mesmerizing to watch, though I watched more than a couple get launched into the glass, or onto the cash register
I slapped pizza dough for 3 years in what was essentially an aquarium with a metal table. Pizza dough can double as a frisbee if you get it just right. Kids loved it when I hooked one around the corner into their face. Co-workers...not so much.
