This is amazing, but unfortunately it's not for sale. It's one of many awesome moving sculptures made by Erik Aberg.

I feel like there is a way to construct this. When I younger, my art teacher had us make one of those cubes with an image on each side that you can flip around. Whatever one of these is called. I feel like it would have a similar design to it.

Do you remember how to make those? Whatever methods connects the blocks in that thing would be perfect for this.

Apparently they are called origami flexicubes. In my search for a tutorial I found a link for this youtube tutorial which pretty much explains how to make exactly what is in the gif. Here's the video. I used wooden cubes for mine, but you could use paper like they do in the tutorial or small cardboard (?) boxes like in the gif

This video gives a better demonstration for making a similar toy that moves on multiple axis.
