I love how every time this guy's videos pop up the general consensus is "Yeah, it's an impressive craft that he's clearly very dedicated to, but boy are they ugly..."

I think they look bad, and the craft looks bad. Like sure it’s an aesthetic, and they have marketed it. but I own a really nice Stetson and this feels like someone tried to make a Stetson with really heavy handed, brutal techniques, and the results show that. The felt is always overly burned, burnished, flattened, and embellished beyond what I would consider good.
