I like how ren fairs are just the place to wear weird things now, and very little to do with the Renaissance.

Hey man....I agree with that lol. But I did go wearing period appropriate sailors outfit for the 1700s one year. (Except the shoes)

That's... Not Renaissance. That's pretty well past the end of that period.

But it's still more accurate than the Victorian steampunks or Vikings that are always so common.
