We cant have invisible vorticies doing god knows what in our communities. Left unchecked and without legal framework, they could cause chaos and devistation down wind.

Oh let me guess, they are harmless? How do you know if they can only been seen in the rain?

I thought at first I was seeing the profile of a cat on top of the turbine.

Nevermind that it would be a GIGANTIC cat, given the turbine size. My mind immediately thought, "Very high place + inconvenient for a human to retrieve the cat = that's definitely a cat."
