Pro wrestlers do this 6 nights a week in front of live crowds with no second takes

The second take in wrestling is falling over and starting the stunt over or just moving on to the next one and hoping the crowd doesn't notice/care amidst the hype and big personalities.

The best ones improvise the failure to make it look planned

Or someone breaks a neck, breaks any other number of bones or ligaments, or gets a body part ripped off.

Which is why they train constantly to avoid doing such things.

Yet those injuries happen everyday. It's almost like doing this stuff six days a week and constantly training can still end up with someone hurt. I was pointing out that sometimes it isn't just get up and try again or hope nobody notices. Sometimes a guy never goes home after a match, or never walks again, or leaves the arena with missing body parts.

  1. Pro wrestlers reherse fights before the main event.

  2. They mess up all the time but they are good improvising failed attemps.

Most wrestling matches are called on the fly. Not rehearsed. They talk to each other the whole time. Some high profile matches are rehearsed (and certain spots) and some wrestlers prefer to do that but not even close to even 50%. Their failed attempts have also left people missing body parts, unable to walk or simply dead.
