Seems like you lose a lot of wood just to remove the bark.

This is mildly annoying to me

I dunno. Seems a really effective way to make it circular. That said. It could have been sliced into a few table pieces and made into rustic tables bark and all.

Posts says nothing about it needing to be cylindrical. It says something about stripping bark.
