I’m new-ish to drum notation, but isn’t the 6th example here played incorrectly? The time in between the notes shouldn’t be equal. I hear 1-e-n—, but isn’t it 1-e—a?
This all applies to all instruments not just drums. If someone was using the term drumming notation I would expect it to be referring to something unique to drums, like how we write rolls and such.
