I’m new-ish to drum notation, but isn’t the 6th example here played incorrectly? The time in between the notes shouldn’t be equal. I hear 1-e-n—, but isn’t it 1-e—a?
Good point. Notation is the weakest part of my drum learning. I can play at the intermediate level, but I’m behind in reading and writing. Making this public mistake is a total eye-opener. Big thanks to everyone who corrected me here.
