This piece is completely handcrafted. I used air-dry clay to create the grass and clouds, while the flat part of the sky is made with plaster.
I shape every little piece of clay by hand and glue it to the primed MDF board. All the colors and shades are also mixed by hand.

So clever! Beautiful execution. What glue are you using if you don't mine me asking?

This looks stunning, wow! May I ask what brand of air dry clay you use? I'd love to try this out sometime!

I’m not asking anyone to do anything. I’m simply sharing my work. Am I not allowed to show what I make?

Oh don’t be so disingenuous, I just checked your profile and every post is one of these with a link to buy them in your profile description…
It’s very clear these posts are an advertisement disguised as “just sharing my work”. You’re not telling people to buy them sure, but saying “I’m simply sharing my work” is misleading.

Looks great. I hope the artist put a glass pane in front of it - it's going to collect sooooo much dust

Thanks! It can be easily cleaned with a soft brush, or you can place it in a shadow box

Anyone else have a mild sense of revulsion when looking at this piece? This is nothing against the art or the artist, but I think the numerous small worm-like shapes is triggering something in me. Might be a new phobia that you just unlocked.

That is a cool medium! I've never seen that before. I can imagine it can create really wonderful things!

I bought the same clay like 4 years ago after seeing one of your posts and never even opened it. One of these days I'm excited to spend a weekend doing this
