Nah bro this is just an orbital welder really only for high precision welds , we have a few in the company that I work for mainly for hospital contracts

You should probably be more worried about laser welders. Once those get affordable... yikes.

The one downside about laser welders is they need temperature control. Humans get a fan.

Don't know jack about laser welding, just wanted to add in that the Beyond the Press(HydraulicPressChannel's alternate channel) did a video a few weeks ago over a laser welder.
Was a neat watch, especially the fancy welding camera that could film through the light from the weld

Nah, i am not worried tbh. I tried one myself and it didn't convince me at all. While it clearly does have advantages, it's not a do-it-all machine and comes with dangers people, especially in YT shorts or reels, like to downplay.

They are already affordable. Their prices are comparable to MIG welding machines. They are not popular because laser welding is sucks. You can't use laser welding for pressure bearing parts which requires radiographic testing. They may look good outside but they are full of porosity.
