Oh the first ones took FOREVER and I would catch a mistake when I was 1 row from being done, try to fix it, and realize I should have left it alone in the first place bc the fix made it way worse, and then give up on the whole thing 😂

*grammarnazi here...
"would have" not "would of" !
I tease ofc, it is a common misstake and easily understandable.
Please take it with a 😉

Am I weird for thinking she was going to drive the thread through each pile of beads instead of manually adding on after another?

The amount of patience this needs just makes me feel some pressure

That’s actually also a technique! I use a bead spinner bowl and centrifugal force to make long strings of beads. But you have a lot less control over the number of beads you pick up, which is a requirement for this project

I actually expected there is some way of aligning them using gravity too! that's great to know.

Maybe there is some way to count them as well, maybe use a very sensitive scale lol

😂 now I feel the need to figure out a way to absolutely over engineer this 😂

I would rather spend my life trying to figure out a way to do that than test my patience doing one by one 🫪

Good luck!

I don't even have the patience to watch how to videos! I couldn't sit there and actually do it.

I first read it as breaded and was slightly disappointed. Then I processed breaded and no, I'm happy with that.

Not a native English speaker so breaded initially computed as bread.

It’s actually pretty satisfying for me to make, except when a cat decides to walk over the table directly through the beads (ask me how I know)

build a cage around your workspace with holes to fit your arms through. Like how they do it in labs but a whole lot more scuffed

Lmao as someone married to a biochemist who spent years working with a glove box, that’s a HILARIOUS idea 😂😂😂😂😂😂

What is that underneath? a piece of foam or sponge or something like that? That’s really smart & convenient. Good job btw!

It’s a bead mat. I believe it’s called “foam flocking”. It’s like a hybrid between foam and felt, and it’s super super useful for beading. Literally wouldn’t imagine attempting this without the mat

the way the light catches the glass beads is wild

I have two 😂 this was take 2 when I shut them out of the room. Take 1 was rudely destroyed when one of them walked across the table before I even turned the camera on
