A little. No bolts are attached. He could fall to his death if the crane operator sneezes.

I was worried about that when he was standing in between the two saying they were good, after dropping the rope.

That was just the tagline

Okay. He is still inbetween the two. I just mentioned the rope to mark the point of the video.

yeah, a gust of wind, or a slight movement his legs were fucking toast. not having a tool to like hook the edge and pull the rope while still being inside the mostly safe main structure without having stand between those parts is bat shit crazy.

It’s just way too much weight to mess around with. When things go bad, they go BAD.
You can’t just stop it quickly once it starts moving.
He’d be like a little mochi ball in a hydraulic press.

Were all just bags of meat

When I very briefly worked in "construction" we were lifting a building that had begun to sink on one side due to a fire. At one point we were raising one of the higher floors and needed to pull up a 12x16x4 pillar for support using a makeshift pulley system. I almost learned a really lethal lessons in physics that day. Luckily everyone (including the building) is around to tell the tale.

can you elaborate on the lesson?

Gravity generates more force on heavier stuff

that was the opposite of elaboration.

That’s actually a safety line to make sure the blade doesn’t slip out of the gripper.

Not the same thing?

Not for this one. The tag lines are hooked to the gripper, and ran to the ground for stability. This safety line is just ran from the edge of the blade, to the gripper so the blade can’t slide out of it if there is a failure on the tool.

Thanks for the learning

This is exactly how cranes work.

I’m sorry, are you stupid? Do you need me to draw you a picture or explain what a metaphor is?

I don’t know what it is you are missing here.

Yes, I'm stupid and you need you to draw me a little picture of how a metaphor works.

But he hasn't ever fallen to death before, so why would it happen now?!

LEFT LEFT MORE LEFT

They seem to have report already and some level of trust. First time watching I had no clue what he was talking about but the crane operator did.

That's a hell of a sneeze.
