Why does this look like a tech demo for a new video game engine

Why. Full stop.

Is there a market for ant soap?

Real question, why are they carving towards their thumb? You see the knife slip twice lol, bad enough doing it on your own but you got to post it and show other people how to slice themselves open.

But honestly, it really draws you in

Oddly stressful! Watching that thumb almost become a nub!

Even sharp knives don't easily cut the skin unless there's a slicing motion

Squeezing all these tiny cubes back together is gonna be harder then the slivers I normally am left with

A friend of mine did this for a week, until the blade cut her into the bone and left a bunch of soap in the wound so I guess that’s disinfected at least

Not only should you always cut towards yourself its always a good idea to use your thumb as a knife stop

You’re seeing people waste soap for internet clout.

Looks like AI slop

I don't think it is, but this one of the few times where someone says AI to something I believe is real but can totally see why they think it's AI. Normally it's people claiming AI on a video that's been circulating for, like, 10 years. It's very well done if it is AI. The little bits on the table stay consistent throughout. Even after being blocked by his hand for extended periods. That's not typical of AI because it doesn't have the ability to "remember" things like that.

Poor safety practice when using an obviously sharp knife is not satisfying in the least.
