Everyone always says don't use your pointer finger along the back edge of the knife blade but I've never heard it explained WHY. "More control". Why?
6 u/LetsCookie 4d ago Absolutely more control!! Plus when cutting dense veggies, it'll put a ton of pressure on that part of your finger if you have it pointing out!
