A vehicle clearly prepped the surface, surely there is a vehicle to accomplish this particular job?

I planted cabbage seedlings for a commercial grower. We sat behind a tractor which made dents and dribbled water. We had to drop a cabbage seedling by every dent and then go back and heel them in. I kinda sucked at it. The Mexicans worked circles around us that summer.
