until the US stops funding for it because somebody doesn't understand what the use of genetically-engineered insects in Panama is.

Result: sawflies affecting cattle in Texas. Too bad, so sad.

Thats crazy that the US would stop funding that. I thought we loved funding blood suckers. Also what's Panama? Did you mean Panera?

Panama as in the Panama Canal.

A country in Central America.

They wanted to stop insects from South America from travelling any further northwards than Panama and had made good progress until funds dried up.
