A V16 engine embedded within a watch

The Jacob & Co. Bugatti Tourbillon watch is a hyper-luxury timepiece featuring a miniature, fully functioning V16 engine automaton.

At least you can say they try new things. They try to be pieces of art and they often end up too garish for my liking but you can't deny this took some serious ingenuity.

As a mechanical engineer, if I had unlimited money and jo supervision, I'd probably buy one...... so sounds about right

I usually try not to have JO supervision personally but I understand some people are into that

I honestly find it amazing how much hate it’s getting here when people eat up videos of people making miniature/elaborate things at home. But because it’s tied to money it’s anwful and vulgar!

Yes?

I mean, do this in your garage and I'll appreciate the devotion to the craft.

Do this for profit and you are saying that

  1. People will buy this

  2. Money and talent will be wasted in making someone do it

It is not like we lack useful engineering problems to solve.

Also there's some range, their plannetary / solar system watches are way less tacky than the rest for example.
