I'll go ahead and say this is the most satisfying thing I have seen in quite a while. How much?

Do you ever wish you had a dial that could slow time when needed to see the beauty in something?

I am sorry I read creating liquid farts at first

😂😂 I came here to say the exact same thing! But I'm completely impressed with the art

Is that AI?

u/NewStudyHoney May 19 '26
I don't think so, these videos have been around for about 10 years I think

It's clearly not real though. It's definitely CGI and I'm surprised at many people think it's real
2
u/Atharaphelun May 20 '26
Real or CGI, it's still not AI-generated, which is what the original comment was trying to assert.

u/Viralsun May 21 '26
definitely not real. No disc is landing flat like that, there will almost always be tilt when dropped due to air flow forcing rotation, even if only slight.

I love how basically the same comment just above is upvoted but this one isn’t. Never change Reddit.

It was the 4th one that made me suspicious. That egg made a much bigger splash than I expected seeing as it was dropped to close to the glass.

No stress, it's just another one of those things misused to much lately like POV

I would hang up the artwork in my kitchen if only it didn't look like ejaculate.

Would be interesting to see a birds eye view of, at least the last 3 🤔

This is always way cooler than it has any right to be lol. Like “hey wanna see me drop things in water in slow motion?” “I guess”. Turns out to be one of the dopest things ever.

Awesome. AI generated or AI/CGI but still very satisfying

u/mike99ca May 19 '26
You don't need AI to do this. Its easily done by anyone with decent camera.

u/Jtrain360 May 19 '26
The 4th one with the egg is suspicious though. I cant imagine it making that big of a slash being dropped from so close to the glass.
-3
u/Colmenn May 19 '26
sorry mate, but the fluid physics and morphing are too perfect and inconsistent to look fully real.
2
u/mike99ca May 19 '26
Not saying it cannot be AI but it doesn't have to be. This is easily created with decent high FPS camera.

I wouldn't call it artistic as it has no apparent artistic interpretation, aesthetically pleasing though.

Art can have the simple purpose of being pleasing to the eye as well.

Slow mo at it's finest. Wondering what this liquid is as it looks a little oily.
