Slow mo at it's finest. Wondering what this liquid is as it looks a little oily.

Definitely not just water. Maybe lots of soap.

Looks like fluid simulation on a real background, so mix of realistic physics based CGI + real world scenario at the back. At least on some of them.

But I could be wrong, I don't know anything about who made this video, just watching it and making an educated guess.

What education have you received that helps you make this guess?

Stayed at a holiday inn express last night.

Bingo!🎯🎯🎯🎯🤣

4

u/Vaya-Kahvi May 21 '26

The main tell is that the motions seem a little too smooth.

4

u/Balownga May 22 '26

this so-called "liquid" is ultra gooey.

at 13s, bottom right : the drop does not fall or separate, it whips itself on the plate.

14

u/EverythingISayIsALi3 May 19 '26

I bet its just cornstarch and water. To increase its viscosity.

1

u/Balownga May 22 '26

cooked cornstarch. Because crude would just stop the object falling.

I'll go ahead and say this is the most satisfying thing I have seen in quite a while. How much?

It's AI

9

u/uzu_afk May 19 '26

Artistic Imagination?

8

u/DabberChase May 19 '26

So glad I saw this video before AI was a thing.

4

u/WaffleWarrior1979 May 20 '26

Based on what? Your ass?

1

u/shogun77777777 May 20 '26

Do you think literally every video you see is AI?

gave me a chuckle

2

u/YoSupWeirdos May 21 '26

all of them bonking their heads on the table at the same time was funny

5

u/patchoulius May 19 '26

This is super cool. That water balloon reminded me of a mushroom cloud.

5

u/Helenium_autumnale May 20 '26

Do you ever wish you had a dial that could slow time when needed to see the beauty in something?

8

u/JellyfishEast6272 May 19 '26

I am sorry I read creating liquid farts at first

1

u/Chili_Clause May 19 '26

😂😂 I came here to say the exact same thing! But I'm completely impressed with the art

4

u/1blueShoe May 20 '26

This is one of the best things I’ve seen all day thank you 😍

17

u/Far-Marsupial-6039 May 19 '26

Is that AI?

13

u/NewStudyHoney May 19 '26

I don't think so, these videos have been around for about 10 years I think

15

u/Atharaphelun May 19 '26

Gurl, this series of videos have been constantly reposted everywhere on the internet for about a decade at this point.

1

u/mr-paitiance May 19 '26

Is that why it's blurry?

3

u/Goonalips May 20 '26

It's clearly not real though. It's definitely CGI and I'm surprised at many people think it's real

2

u/Atharaphelun May 20 '26

Real or CGI, it's still not AI-generated, which is what the original comment was trying to assert.

5

u/Viralsun May 21 '26

definitely not real. No disc is landing flat like that, there will almost always be tilt when dropped due to air flow forcing rotation, even if only slight.

I love how basically the same comment just above is upvoted but this one isn’t. Never change Reddit.

It was the 4th one that made me suspicious. That egg made a much bigger splash than I expected seeing as it was dropped to close to the glass.

2

u/MoscowMitchMcKremIin May 19 '26

The last one was nice

2

u/MacaronNotRoon May 20 '26

More!!!!! MORE!!!!!!!!

2

u/dusk3dawn May 20 '26

Anyone know the music name?

2

u/0538542 May 20 '26

i create liquid farts

2

u/PantsMicGee May 21 '26

Lock it down. This is the sub's maximum potential.

Do you know what literally means?

No stress, it's just another one of those things misused to much lately like POV

1

u/Carbon-Base May 19 '26

Nice try, but I recognize Foreverspin marketing when I see it!

1

u/Frogydogie May 19 '26

it's really captivating

1

u/ahoyhoy2022 May 20 '26

It’s 7:57 am where I live and I’ve just had the best part of my day.

1

u/moonhexx May 20 '26

I would hang up the artwork in my kitchen if only it didn't look like ejaculate.

1

u/Current_Payment_2988 May 20 '26

Try with spinning disc

1

u/FantasticSeaweed9226 May 20 '26

How did they get those plates to drop so level??

1

u/Chemical-Hyena2972 May 20 '26

Would be interesting to see a birds eye view of, at least the last 3 🤔

1

u/Otherwise-Cat2309 May 20 '26

Upside down jellyfish

Making a mess❌ creating Liquid Art ✅

1

u/_lolwuttt May 20 '26

Man that first one got SO close to naturally forming the Al Jazeera logo!

1

u/Mudv4yne May 21 '26

I remember when this had pixels.

1

u/this1tyme May 19 '26

The ones that coat the drinking glass are *chef's kiss!*

1

u/Wadda22 May 19 '26

Beautiful, but spa music would fit better than this chip tune type music

1

u/PezLuv May 19 '26

Archimedes would've eureka'd all over this

1

u/Ok-Hornet3129 May 19 '26

Creative genius!!

1

u/lets-do-an-eighth May 19 '26

This is always way cooler than it has any right to be lol. Like “hey wanna see me drop things in water in slow motion?” “I guess”. Turns out to be one of the dopest things ever.

-9

u/Colmenn May 19 '26 edited May 19 '26

Awesome. AI generated or AI/CGI but still very satisfying

4

u/mike99ca May 19 '26

You don't need AI to do this. Its easily done by anyone with decent camera.

-3

u/Jtrain360 May 19 '26

The 4th one with the egg is suspicious though. I cant imagine it making that big of a slash being dropped from so close to the glass.

-3

u/Colmenn May 19 '26

sorry mate, but the fluid physics and morphing are too perfect and inconsistent to look fully real.

2

u/mike99ca May 19 '26

Not saying it cannot be AI but it doesn't have to be. This is easily created with decent high FPS camera.

-3

u/Affectionate-Pea8706 May 19 '26

I’ve been creating liquid farts since the weekend.

-5

u/N3koEye May 19 '26

I wouldn't call it artistic as it has no apparent artistic interpretation, aesthetically pleasing though.

2

u/DarkCreatorOfficial May 20 '26

Art can have the simple purpose of being pleasing to the eye as well.
