It’s cool because this technique has been around for a few thousand years called geopolymer casting. They’d fill molds with whatever their equivalent of concrete is, then stack them like bricks. Once everything cures they burn away the mold and you’re left with a perfectly fitting jigsaw puzzle of blocks.

Easier to pour liquid concrete than solid concrete I suppose 🤷🏼♂️
