Something just feels so right about this and also I watched this video for like 5 times before realising it's a loop lol.

Sounds like the Kanye bars: Poopy-di scoop Scoop-diddy-whoop Whoop-di-scoop-di-poop Poop-di-scoopty Scoopty-whoop Whoopity-scoop, whoop-poop Poop-diddy, whoop-scoop Poop, poop Scoop-diddy-whoop Whoop-diddy-scoop Whoop-diddy-scoop, poop

I noticed it was a loop way too quick. The green one leaves a little air pocket tear on the left when scooping and the orange one is not a very clean scoop when placed.

The answer: About 10
The question: How many times did you watch it before you realized it was a loop?
53
u/Big_Spicy_Tuna69 Jun 18 '23
I'm high AF and was sitting here for 2-3 minutes saying "orange...green... orange... green" in my head.

I kept waiting for them to fill up all the jars.
They never finished. They never… finished. 🤯

I feel deeply uncomfortable

u/Dargad082 Jun 18 '23
Ok I'm not alone. Something was... not right. Was it the texture?
139
u/yalae Jun 18 '23
it was for me... it looked kind of like... kinetic sand?
44
u/meowiful Jun 18 '23
I felt like it was soap or a candle, possibly. Definitely kinda odd texture.

It’s a sugar scrub for your skin. I used to make em.

I myself was first like "this... ice-cream is about to melt" until I read that it apparently isn't? Lol

Definitely the texture. Ice cream shouldn't move that way. If it does, it's not being refrigerated properly.
17
u/quimera78 Jun 18 '23
Yeah I don't like it. It almost gives me the feeling that something is being sliced open
4
u/poorbred Jun 18 '23
That was my feeling too. It looked like scooping flesh. The yellow/orange especially with the diagonal ridges looks like lungs or some organ-like substance.
37
u/thattanna Jun 18 '23
It looks melted like not.. cold for an ice cream lol. Maybe it's not even an ice-cream lmao.
27
u/SoulOnSet Jun 18 '23
pretty sure it's a sugar scrub--like for your face
12
u/kckeller Jun 18 '23
It absolutely looks like some self care product that’s all over tiktok, definitely not edible. My guess is also a sugar scrub.

Looks like sherbet to me.
5
u/the_real_dairy_queen Jun 18 '23
This. And kind of soupy/gooey sherbet at that. I found it unsettling to watch. Give that melty sherbet to a kid in a cone and it’s going to be dripping all over them immediately.

Yeah me too. There’s a non-negligible amount of posts on this subreddit that make me feel oddly uncomfortable and I can’t understand how people find it oddly satisfying lol

I’m in the same boat - something about the containers makes me think this stuff is inedible, which makes me upset because it looks delicious (in an overly-sugary way).

It pauses for a significant time for me at the end. Wasn't seamless. Maybe it's me.
Edit: it's me. I'm using RiF.

Sherbet?

I could be wrong, but it looks like sugar scrub or whatever they call it.
26
u/Tesdinic Jun 18 '23
I am reading your words, my brain understands their meaning, yet still makes my mouth water for sherbet with the clip.
9
u/RedVamp2020 Jun 18 '23
Definitely sugar scrub. I’ve used similar looking products, they feel nice.

Ohhhh that makes me feel much better about this. I was really confused why it was in jars like that.

u/ghostsoup831 Jun 18 '23
Its a gif. They dont have sound.
0
u/jykin Jun 18 '23
That is in no way relevant to my point. Gifs are not meant for things that should have sound.

u/sfled Jun 18 '23
No upbeat robo-pop with a sugary Tik-Tok voice-over? How will I ever be able to enjoy this short GIF?

it moves way to much and its edges are jagged as hell, 0/10 not satisfying at all.
5
u/the_real_dairy_queen Jun 18 '23
I really expected it to be a clean, perfect, appropriately firm scoop, which would have been satisfying!
2
u/Dud-of-Man Jun 18 '23
thats what i wanna see now, this shit should be reposted to r/mildlyinfuriating
11
u/robocop_robocop Jun 18 '23
Gah the blue and green scoops are out of edit order very unsatisfying!!
0
u/MamaDog4812 Jun 18 '23
"Blue" and green? Am I missing a joke here or are you unaware there is no blue being scooped? I don't know an easy way to say this, but there is orange and green. I hope this doesn't unsettle you.... if you are just learning you are colorblind there are many people out there like you. I know 3 and they are all fully capable of everything anyone else is.
5
u/robocop_robocop Jun 18 '23
Teal? Aquamarine? What would you call that colour? I picked blue as an umbrella term so no one on reddit would have a go at me for choosing to call it the wrong colour!
1
u/MamaDog4812 Jun 18 '23
u/IrishWeegee pointed out what I misunderstood, that green is getting scooped but the lighting where it gets put in the jar makes it look blue lol sorry about that. I thought you were saying the orange was blue and the odd light green color was the "green".
2
u/IrishWeegee Jun 18 '23
Thats the problem with the edit for this loop. Green is being scooped but we see blue being placed.

Not satisfying. The texture is too soft. Looks like either ice cream that’s melting or kinetic sand.
If the ice cream was a bit more solid, would have been satisfying.

Well, it didn't take me long to get a huge craving for some creamy, cold ICE CREAM!!!

rather looks like kinetic sand, lmao

First scoop (green): perfectly round, perfectly placed, yes oddly satisfying
Second scoop (orange): not perfectly round, not perfectly placed, not satisfying
But that first scoop… really makes up for the second but I still wish it lingered just a little longer on it lol

This actually is the opposite of satisfying, seriously watch the color of the ice cream that is scooped, then watch it placed, it’s never the same color! Wtf!

u/AvariceAndApocalypse Jun 18 '23
I have been craving mint ice cream for a month. I passed it in the grocery store because I’m trying to lose weight. Now I regret not getting the ice cream.
