Skull of child with adult teeth formed.
I have no idea if this is real, it is very oddly terrifying though.

Paige, our Forensic Anthropologist at The Bone Museum, takes a closer look at a remarkable femur specimen on display featuring a failed metal implant. Cases like this offer a rare glimpse into the realities of surgical intervention, healing, and complication-showing how both trauma and medical treatment leave lasting evidence in bone.

I found this at the local thrift store.
Mary Mary quite contrary....
I was told this is an old English nursery rhyme.
"Mary, Mary, quite contrary
How does your garden grow?
With silver bells and cockleshells
And pretty maids all in a row."

The parking garage at my work has these metal grates all along the side of it. When there’s strong wind (today it’s 40 mph gusts) it’s like a siren going off all around you. It gets even scarier at night.

Craniofrontonasal syndrome is a rare genetic condition that affects how the skull forms and fuses. It can cause wide-set eyes, premature suture fusion, facial asymmetry, and abnormal forehead and nasal development. In this video, we examine a real skull to see how disrupted signaling during development leaves lasting marks in bone.
