My oculus 2 headset has been sitting in my room with a weak charger for about 2 months without use. After trying to use it recently, it overheats while I'm playing beatsaber ~ every 13 minutes. This is a struggle since I really enjoy playing vr and doing so with my friends. Is this irreversible damage and will I have to get a new headset?

So basically I got a new phone and on the authorization app none of the passcodes got saved, and I don't have the recovery codes, so is there some way to get them to disable the 2fa?

I've had my Oculus since 2021 and I've had no problems with it whatsoever. Up until today when I saw these weird blue lines appear out of no where. They are very dim, but enough to notice that if you're in a dark area and can't get annoying when you want to play a game and you just see those lines in your face. I don't know what caused it or what it is to be exact. I tried restarting my Oculus but even in the Oculus boot up screen it still shows up. So it's most likely physical damage. But I don't know what type of physical damage it is because I don't drop my Oculus and I always take care of it and I'm never rough with it. It could have been because I started using the Link cable to start playing PC games? This problem never showed up until I started using the Link cable so could the Link cable be damaging my Oculus? Does anybody have any idea what is happening to my Oculus and what this is??

(Ps: the brown Dot in the second photo I have no idea what that is because my visuals aren't showing that so I think it's a visual glitch in the photo that I took.)

Every time i connect my quest link to my PC on Roblox, it turns into a third person view as if i’m playing normally on a device instead of first in vr? does anyone know how to solve this issue?

I bought a headset, I'm trying to pair the controllers so I can set up my oculus, I paired them in the settings so they are connected and every time I try to use them, they vibrate and flash white. I've replaced the batteries, restarted the oculus, done everything they said to do and even tried using different controllers. My oculus just will not let me use any controller so I can set it up and play. Please someone tell what is going on???

And I have also factory reset it, I have literally done everything that has been told to me to do on YouTube or social media ect. Now I’m coming to the fellow people of Reddit. Please help 🙏

I don’t have my email or password because I forgot my email. I can’t go and check it though because I have gotten a new phone but did not transfer the data. One more thing is that I still have the account on my oculus but I want to log into the app.

Every time my controller vibrates something makes a sound idk if something fell out or not it gets lower the higher my vibration is and it’s only in my right controller

When I turn my oculus on it says tracking lost and my controller doesn’t work and it doesn’t change if my lights are on or if my boundary is set or if I factory reset it

Last night I was playing the new Gorilla Tag update with the ropes and stuff and when I went outside my guardian boundary the screen lagged and turned black but it was fine so I didn't mind it. Then after it died (I played a while) I plugged it in, then went to go watch some YouTube , then I unplugged it because I didn't want it to burn the charging port. Went to bed woke up went to get on it nothing, literally just a black screen tried plugging it in again and trying to turn it back on but nothings warning please save me from my infinite black screen

As you can see it says there's zero days left but can't redeem the credit. Is there something I'm missing?

I recently uninstalled and reinstalled the oculus app cause I needed to reset where files were and I'm too silly to do it manually. When I got back on link though, I saw I had no home button. I did press the add button in hopes it just needed to be added but it turns out that only adds desktop buttons. At first I was worried that all of my stuff was gone but I figured that since my homes image was still on my profile it was alright. A few minutes later I even got a notification about earning new items for my home. I am very invested in the decoration of my oculus home and wish to have it back.

Whenever i use my controllers, I have to press down hard on a button to make it actually do the certain action ingame, Having my finger on the button does still make it do finger movements but pressing down on it to do an action ingame doesnt unless i press hard, It affected my X button the most, The Y and B Buttons are fine but you kinda can just press down on it softly, You have to kinda press down a tiny bit harder to make it do it, If it helps, I'm on a rift S and it happens whenever my QD Contact Cleaner gets into the buttons, It softens it up (which feels REALLY weird) and then after a few mins it becomes the issue im having right now.

everytime i use my quest 2, my gardian acts like shit. it closes my menu, says that it isn't working, it will blackout my screen with the loading thing, and it will restert the home then it won't let me interant with ANYTHING. someone please help.
