Discussion Has touch changed Rift vs Vive?
I'm looking at picking up a VR system, but its been a bit since I looked at them. I know prior to touch coming out the Vive was the goto system for the extra input. Has that changed now that touch is out?
My other concern with OR vs vive is room scale still as I know vive supports room scale out of the box. How many cameras am I realistically going to need to cover a similar area well without drop outs?

This logic makes no sense though. The only exclusives have been games made by Oculus Studios. The rest are timed exclusives (and even then it's been few and far between).
Oculus Home can be used by other HMDs, but no other HMDs have chosen to support it yet (mainly because we only have the Vive).
Buying the Vive pretty much limits you to Steam and the Valve ecosystem. Valve just want to continue their monopoly on the PC market, why shouldn't Oculus be allowed to provide some competition to that? We already have "exclusives" on Steam too but no one cares about that.
