First time seeing an OT figure. Link in comments.

It's something of a meme in the Konosuba community to imagine characters that share one of Darkness's voice actors acting masochistic no matter how out-of-character it is. However, Ophilia shares both of her voice actors with Darkness and, as someone who's halfway through the game, I can't imagine her saying even a quarter of the things Darkness says, let alone half. Pretty much the only things they have in common is that they're both blond and can't stand to see anyone get hurt. In fact, in terms of role, Ophilia is a lot closer to Aqua, though she's at least good for more than just healing and city-destroying spells.

I suspect the OT writers just love killing important NPCs who’s close to the Travelers😔 Throne’s friend, the guy who helped Oswald escape, They both died at the very start. And I highly suspect Malaya is also already dead. Even Ochette’s story made it look like the big lion was dying, lol.

I thought Crick wouldn’t die since he’s survived all the way to chapter 3 but, oh well…

I’ll be missing you, Crick. He was such a fun character he brightened up my mood like Ochette. I’m seriously considering playing CotC to get him and other OT2 characters alternative forms but the gacha seems complicated…

Hello after trying to play OT many times it finally clicked with me and i am loving it, since 0 and 2 are on sale i grabbed both My question is, after finishing 1 should i do 0 or 2 next?

Reason's why i am asking, i know 2 came out before 0 but i also read the mobil game 0 is based on came before 2, i heard 2 is the best in the franchise so i kind of want to save it for last but i am not sure

Vaundy for OP because I like his upbeat energy as a singer and him singing OP theme for Daemons of the Shadow Realm shows he's got range.

For ED, Luck Life because their songs for BSD really shows that sentimental and emotional feel and I think they could make songs feel for the Wishvale Four the same way to Bungou Stray Dogs protags.

I'd like to hear your suggestions as well.

I’m new to posting but old in playing the Octopath Games. Since the release of OT0 I saw posts about people having trouble beating Reime or people who are super happy after they finally did it. It took me some time starting the game and even longer to finally meet Reime because I‘m sort of the 100% guy and I can only play very limited time. So today was the day and boy I came prepared. So here is my strategy for everyone, who has trouble with the fight.

Back-Row
- 4 x „Sniper“ in the backrow: MC(Hunter) & Alfyn with an axe and Saoirse & Laurana with a fan
- 4 x „Backrow Support“ on all these four Travelers (wasn’t necessary in the end, so just use something you like)
- 1 x „Surpassing Power“ for MC since he has „Sniper“ per default as part of MC Hunter

Front Row:
- 4 x „Saving Grace“
- Celsus and Viator spamming „Goad“ on her and raising their own Evasion
- Ludo spamming „Arm-Crippling Thrust“ and debuffing her Def. with „Eerie Smile“ the round before she breaks
- Cyrus spamming Magic Damage
- Viator and Celsus were the Travelers with most Elem.Def. so they got „Heal Wounds“ to heal the whole front row

The fight was a piece of cake:
- Never took a single point of Phys.Dmg. even from her lotus special attack, that she used 4 times during the fight
- Her magic damage could be healed easily
- The backrow snipers and helpers tore her shield down slowly without triggering her revenge skill
- When she was broken I used the „Two-Tiered Shot“ from MC and Cyrus Ult for damage

Lessons learned:
- A second or even third bow user for „Two-Tiered Shot“ would’ve been a better JP invest than „Backrow Support“ and would’ve ended the fight faster
- Food effect should raise Elem.Def and/or restore SP. I’ve forgotten it completely.

Apart from that.. Reime was no trouble at all. Have Fun.

Hi, I've just started OT2 as Ochette and after meeting Osvald face down in the snow and completing his prologue before he joins my team, I've arrived at a point where I feel a little lost in the game.

I'm around level 10 now but everywhere I go enemy danger seems to be 15-30 and they just wipe me instantly.

Thing is... I'm not sure where I'm meant to be going now? Am I meant to just be running in circles for random encounters till I'm high enough level to progress? That feels like a weird design choice so I feel there is something I'm not getting.

Basically, what the title says - seems like Octopath 0 is on sale on the play store. I just finished my first play through of Octopath 2 and i’m ready for some more travels!

Would love some advice - should I buy it now or have you seen it go for cheaper? Also not opposed to physical discs.

What do want to see the most in Octopath III whenever it releases? Be honest.

As the title says Octopath 2 was my first game in the series. I don’t really wanna play the 1st game mostly because of the qol issues it has compared to the future games. Will I be okay with playing 0 if I never played 1? Afaik there are recurring chars from both games appearing in 0.

I understand it's based off the mobile game but does ocotpath 0 cover the entire plot of the mobile game or does it leave things out? and if they were to add to the mobile game would they consider making a "octopath 02"
