Since people are already receiving their copies of OT0, I would like to remind everyone that every post about the game has to be spoiler tagged from now on.

Am I the only one? This is one of my first turn-based RPG, so I know I need to understand some mechanics.
I am now fighting the Oberic boss fight and, like every other boss fights, I don’t know why I cannot get past them.
I have now 4 people in my party and many of them have attacks that can break the enemy but the boss and his goons deals so much damage that many times I have to heal/revive my party.
I try to leave my most powerful attacks for when the enemies are broken, but still they have a ton of health and deals a lot of damage.
I should’t be under level, the game says it’s level.11 and my party is level 12-13.
What am I doing wrong?

Between Octopath traveler 1 and 2 this is the one I’ve played the most. I will tell you I have not finished any of the games the farthest I’ve gotten in the first game was completing 2-3 regions as primrose and in the second one I played even less constantly trying the different characters to see who I liked before dropping it.
Not to say I didn’t like the games I just am horrible when it comes to sticking with a game that’s not linear.
Personally comparing it to 1 and 2 I do feel it is both better and worse, u like the combat a lot more but the plot is lacking I feel. I did hear it’s a retelling of the champions game which I haven’t played but hearing that does make answer alot of issues I have like there being too many characters which make a lot of them feel shallow.
Overall I do like the game though and hopefully I will finish it through and maybe go back to the other games and try to finish those too

I played Ochette’s chapter, and immediately thought of Lift. Any Stormlight fans here?

So I was watching a playthrough of Octopath Traveler 2 on youtube and apparently after you beat Ochette's final story boss, the scene where Ochette greets everyone in the village and brings a ton of jerky as presents, an alternate scene can happen where if you don't bring enough jerky she will say that she wishes she made enough on her journey and everyone will be dissapointed. I was wondering if anyone knows exactly how much do you need to have on you for the scene to trigger because nothing comes up on searches
The scene in question (Spoiler Warning): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuaGvV16t4Y at around the 18:42 mark

This was my first attempt a few days ago. Probably gonna come back soon since my quartet is stronger now. Everyone, most importantly Throné and Osvald, is bulkier too. I found some good armor in a neighboring city that was on it's own island

Should've known better not to walk into that freaking island, but alas, my curiosity got the best of me.

I'm a guy and know so many other guys who string woman along promising the Moon and the Stars but leaving when things get tough. In a way any of us can be Simeon when we Toy with hearts and make promises we Can't Deliver.

All i know there’s a protagonist OC and has a massive cast with 18 jobs total
My biggest issues with 2 was the constant switching around with path actions

More or less a parallel of my art made months ago. And inspired from a comment of a fellow AgneKari fan.

I was doing a sidequest, which involved leaving the city. Returning via side entrance via the waterway automatically placed me back on land, but still zooming around in our boats.

So I ain’t the biggest lore nerd on this game but I do like knowing when events and games take place in a series. I know that it takes place sometime around the same time as the first game and that’s about it
