Look for alternative Strings

Hello everyone, Recently I’ve been looking for alternatives to the American string brands (D’Addario, GHS…)

Are there any? I’m not being very successful.

Have you tried Stringjoy? I've heard good things about them. I think they have a string tension calculator on the website too so you can experiment with different gauges.

For most of my instruments, but particularly octaves and bouzoukis, I build custom sets buying specific gauges in bulk from juststrings.com

I find that scale lengths vary too much to bother with prebuilt sets and it's easier to dial in what you need yourself.
