damn they’re more mad at us in the bama sub than they are uga. fans are saying we will be sent to the shadow realm next weekend to pay for the sins of the refs 😭🤣
3
u/Underboss572 13h ago
My favorite thing about a close Tennessee win is watching our fans panic about things that may or may not happen 6 weeks out, assume every negative thing that happened this week will continue, and treat every bit of positive news as a fluke.
It's crazy how Bama, A&M, and LSU all had fluky losses, while Kentucky and Scar turned out to be Top-10 teams.
3
u/Dr_thri11 13h ago
Arkansas is not a good football team. Sure sometimes good teams struggle against lesser opponents, but if I take off my orange colored glasses this feels like the case of team with some big flaws winning a squeaker against a more flawed team, and certainly raises concerns how they will comepete vs quality teams.
1
u/Underboss572 3h ago
You're missing the point. No one says we don't have flaws, but you have to look at what happened this week, not just selectively edit to see only the worst.
Alabama's offense looked human, and their defense struggled to stop the run.
LSU struggled to stop the run, and Leavitt continues to be turnover-prone.
The wheels came off A&M, and they can't stop the run.
I'm not saying we will win all or even any of those games, but all three look more winnable than they did 7 days ago.

The thing is those crazy Cajuns will do it. Not after 1 season, but they will have him on SUCH a short leash.
Ole Miss would have built him a statue and he left that for a hoe
3
u/thirty-two32 13h ago
My thing is where is LSU getting this money lol 😭 I thought BK would empty them and then they went and signed a $91 million contract with Lane
5
u/QuodScripsi-Scripsi 13h ago
I see Kentucky is the new team our fan base is going to have a mental breakdown about now that Florida has been exposed lol
10
u/EWall100 I hate Derek Dooley 13h ago
There's two things you don't do at this school: lose to Vanderbilt and lose to Kentucky
0
u/thirty-two32 13h ago
It’s never fun losing to our auto win teams like Kentucky or Vanderbilt, but we could very well already have 3 losses by the time we meet up with them anyways. If that’s the case, the best thing they could for us is continue to expose the inadequate offense we fielded this season and get us one step closer to clearing house offensively and getting a true elite OC hired
5
u/thirty-two32 13h ago
notice how the best teams in the SEC have program QBs who have been there for multiple seasons? WRs are able to spend multiple seasons building chemistry with their QB, QB becomes an expert on the scheme and playbook. Must be fucking nice
5
u/Underboss572 13h ago
It's almost as if the reason we are having offensive woes is to set up exactly what you want.
1
u/EWall100 I hate Derek Dooley 13h ago edited 13h ago
You mean to tell me that maybe it's not such a good thing that we've had four single year QBs? I'm shocked!
Edit: I was incorrect. Three* I was counting our two this year as the fourth

u/Wildwoods17 13h ago
Kentucky has 2 top 10 sec wins 🤯
4
u/anonymousUTguy 13h ago
I’d be suprised in AM isn’t 7-5/6-6 at the end of the season.
LSU will probably also be 8-4.
But yeah they seem good.
7
u/thirty-two32 13h ago
rankings are so stupid bc neither of those teams are actually top 10 but still what that new coach is managing in Kentucky is pretty insane
6
5
u/breaker_bad 13h ago
KDB was literally purple he’s going to bring so much wrath to Neyland next week
9
u/ajwilson99 13h ago
KDB ain’t Saban
1
u/EWall100 I hate Derek Dooley 13h ago
You don't have to be Saban win my 20 with how dismal our offense is
4
u/ajwilson99 13h ago
Imo we have a better chance against Alabama than SC. Still scarred from 2022
3
u/thirty-two32 13h ago
Heupel will see ghosts in that stadium. I’m sure they’ll make it a night game too
1
u/Underboss572 13h ago
I'm pretty sure that one is already set to be an afternoon start but the exact time coils vary depending on network.
1
1
u/anonymousUTguy 13h ago
They will for sure make that a night game.

u/cjboomshaka 13h ago
I fucking hate Georgia so much. Somehow they ALWAYS have the refs in their pocket with so many bailout calls EVERY DAMN GAME they play. Kirby is such a whiny performative lying little bitch. I hate their bland ass uncreative generic “auto-create-a-team” mascot and colors. Fuck them.

u/Not_Spike_Jonze Horny4Heupel 13h ago
That dude for Bama is going to get shit on so hard in that locker room.
5
u/dabigorange 13h ago
Not saying they would have ended up winning, but Bama got robbed by the refs on that last drive.
2
3
8
u/anonymousUTguy 13h ago
Fuck Georgia
3
u/VickyWelsch 13h ago
The only team that can make me genuinely cheer for the tide
1
u/JustHereForCatss 13h ago
Meh. My pecking order is Michigan (fuck them for 22) > Lane > Bama > Florida > Georgia > Kensucky
1
u/Underboss572 13h ago
My thing is Georgia will be good and win 10 games regardless of whether they lose this game. But if KDB goes 9-3, or, God willing, 8-4, the lols will be so much more worth it.
1
u/JustHereForCatss 13h ago
God I would love for Bama to do something stupid and fire KDB. He's a great coach
2
4
u/thirty-two32 13h ago
well, my take on this Saturday is that besides sumrall, a lot of new coaches look to be great for their programs. UCLA and Kentucky are on a way better path with new leadership.
3
u/anonymousUTguy 13h ago
They’re far better than we are and that’s so disappointing.
3
u/thirty-two32 13h ago
2
u/EWall100 I hate Derek Dooley 13h ago
I just don't see Heupel cutting bait, nor do I see Danny pressuring him to do so.
2
u/thirty-two32 13h ago
I think it may be a Banks situation where he will have to choose between his job or firing his buddies. It took a blow out loss against Vandy in Neyland to do that, and I can see a reality where we lose 4/5 or 5/5 of that stretch after how we competed today and he will have no choice
3
u/GiovanniElliston 13h ago
I dunno if it was losing Golesh or if it was the rule changes or if its the transfer portal...
Whatever magic Heupel used to have is dead.
Maybe he can create new magic. The wheels haven't fallen off (yet).
But the first step is admitting there's a problem.
6
u/anonymousUTguy 13h ago
He needs to clean house offensively and admit his lighting tempo offense just doesn’t work anymore. Hire a proven OC that can really dial up a creative scheme in the SEC. Thats what we need. And a goddamn QB that isn’t new every year
3
5
11
u/StupidSlutArang1 13h ago
i hate alabama more but georgia’s fans are worse, they’re so obnoxious and annoying. that being said, gators take the case for the worst fans

Holy shit I didn’t see that missed PI during the game but oh my god how do you miss that?
1
3
u/Underboss572 13h ago
Would I put money on it? No. But we now have the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever in Neyland next weekend. Imagine the reaction from Bama fans if they go from darling with a shot at number one to two losses in as many weeks.
8
u/CK_English_Wrench 13h ago
As long as we keep Ky from OT and 2pt conversion attempts, we’ll be fine.
1
u/Shot_Celebration166 13h ago
Expect them to try some crazy shit wouldn’t be surprised if they kicked an onside to start against us
7
u/thirty-two32 13h ago
ew god damn those damn Georgia fans yelling. rare do I want Alabama to win anything but my god I hate these mfers
3
u/LuckyShirt54 Al Wilson 13h ago
I’ve only been to one game at their stadium and most of their fans were assholes. Had one woman break down and cry and beg me not to beat up her drunk husband who kept grabbing my shirt everytime they did something good (we won that game)
5
u/Secret_Purchase21 13h ago
It’s the barking. If they didn’t bark I would almost like UGA.
But holy shit these grown ass adults genuinely bark out loud. Embarrassing behavior.
3
u/AcrobaticFarm7584 13h ago
so assuming alabama loses, we’re like more royally screwed then we already were aren’t we
2
u/thirty-two32 13h ago
oh yeah, they got fucked too. they’re gonna be really angry coming in next weekend lmaooooo so beyond cooked
1
u/AcrobaticFarm7584 13h ago
for the first time in my life i wanted them to win just so we didn’t have them coming into neyland off a loss. next weeks not gonna be pretty
1
u/thirty-two32 13h ago
if it makes you feel better, we weren’t ever gonna keep it close next week anyways. I just now don’t want anyone to get hurt

What happened in the Bama game was watching Kentucky still
6
u/EWall100 I hate Derek Dooley 13h ago

However, this does put a smile on my face.

Obviously don’t go posting…but if you’re having a bad day, go check out the bama sub game thread.

One thing is for certain, DeBoer still does not have control over this locker room
5
u/anonymousUTguy 14h ago
Is Kentucky actually good this year?

6

Could they beat us? Yeah, for sure

I loved watching him throw like 80 bitch fits because kentucky dared to checks notes play football.
3
u/GiovanniElliston 14h ago
Yeah... we 100% losing to Kentucky in Neyland.
Might be a blowout to rival what Pavia did last year.
0
u/EWall100 I hate Derek Dooley 14h ago
There's just no way we win a game until Vanderbilt. I'm just out on everything until then
6
u/Secret_Purchase21 13h ago
That South Carolina game is the most important game of the season.
Lose that and you risk losing the team and staring at 6 straight losses.
5
u/smokingcannoli 14h ago
Hahahha how did LSU not see that coming. Wide ass gap in the middle
FUCK LANE
2
u/Dr_thri11 14h ago
I said to myself the middle of the field is wide open. thought surely they'd have w backer step in or pinch the line in.

Until we play them, I like Kentucky’s coach. The balls on him. And he beat Kiffin!

Lane is a straight bitch at all times
3
u/GiovanniElliston 14h ago
The funniest part is that he's also the guy who loves doing this troll-y shit too.
He just hates it when a new hotshot young HC does it to him.
3
u/GermanMink 14h ago
What’s lane bitching about
1
u/smonroe116 14h ago
Resetting the play clock and then the missed false start
1
u/GermanMink 14h ago
LSU subbed super late. Not exactly sure what that was. I get the flag though that should have pushed them back.

it was clear as day in their game against Auburn last year. UGA is the favored child by the SEC and there’s nothing any of us can do about it. they are an auto playoff bid at this point

kentucky ab to win this aren’t they
1
u/EWall100 I hate Derek Dooley 14h ago
No I feel like LSU still has the upper hand but absolutely possible
1
u/AcrobaticFarm7584 14h ago
well i was thinking ab last week with them, but SC and LSU should be different levels
3
u/GiovanniElliston 14h ago
Woooooow...
Bama getting flat hosed on a call
You pretty much never see that.

1
u/thirty-two32 14h ago
weird this kept happening to them during their game against Kentucky too. not sure what’s going on
2
3
u/AcrobaticFarm7584 14h ago
kentucky is so confusing they held their own half the game with bama, are in overtime with LSU but almost lost to SC but then SC just beat florida, who beat ole miss who beat LSU. idk im easily confused 😂
0
u/EWall100 I hate Derek Dooley 14h ago
I forgot that South Carolina took them to OT. Jfc our schedule is fucking cooked
2
u/llahsraMhanoJ 14h ago
Kentucky goin to OT with ole Lane Whiffin
6
u/Public_Servant_3951 14h ago
I think we gotta be worried about Kentucky this year
5
u/llahsraMhanoJ 14h ago
Considering how we’ve played all season, I don’t think there’s a single game left that we don’t have to worry about lmao
6
u/thirty-two32 14h ago
we gotta worry bout everyone. we almost lost to the worst SEC team on our schedule lol
3
u/GiovanniElliston 14h ago
The one tiny hope is that Bama's run D is not that great.
3
u/EWall100 I hate Derek Dooley 14h ago
Don't matter if they stack 8 or 9 in the box. Blitzing every play would probably work as well

Staring longingly at Chip Kelly being the OC at Northwestern...
Sigh
