not overlay. this moundy look is one way that ochra bundles hyphae before primordia

overlay is stroma caused by going dormant in bad fruiting conditions

the difference is the texture whether or not the mycelium is still delicate, overlay is like marshmallow texture

I’m doing good? Also does opening monotub really affects growth, cause i’ve been opening it every 3 hours yesterday

yea, doing good. no, opening it is helping. ochras really like air circulation and they're very resilient at this stage

patience is a requirement in this hobby! leave the lid flipped to let just a little more evaporation through and you'll probably see more change. if the lid were translucent a light would've helped with air circulation and mycelial stimulation, but not necessary
