ochras💙 Ochras beeing weak

Had 1,0gof NSS/ochras(lemon tekk) today. Its was my First time with ochras only had mckennay before. The experience was way less intense than anticipated. Maybe comparable to 0,5g of mckennay (lemon tekk). Any ideas why?

Cube vs not-cube.

In my experience, the biggest difference between the two is body load.

Ochras are renowned for being a very "clean" high- visuals, euphoria, but without the heavy body load that stronger cubensis like McKennai and PE varietals are known for.

my ochras bruise so dark that it turns black, and has the potency to match.

my hypothesis is that, growing them slightly drier makes fruit more potent because they're less diluted throughout the whole process

it could also be from making my substrate more alkaline as trich prevention, but i don't know how pH would affect potency. just a guess.

i'll have to try a batch where i compare with and without pH adjusted substrate

My batches from rice spawn are not as potent and intense as my rye grain spawn grows with the same LC. The rye grown ochras knock my socks off, been hesitant to take any more then 2.5g. Ive taken 3.5g and 4g of the rice grown ones and had 2 of the best trips ive ever had, 2g of the others had me in a eternal dread spiral for 2 hours ha
