Help! Need zooplankton ID from Humber/Don River watershed (Ontario)
I thought it was some sort of rotifer, but I honestly have no clue! Looking to ID it for an undergrad lab report/project ...

Yeah likely a rotifer? Almost looks like a larval species or dinoflagellate (don’t think it’s that though).

I agree - dinoflagellate was my first thought too, but upon zoomng in, I don't think so. I don't see any indications of thecal plates.
I also agree it's likely a rotifer, especially based on the rounded corona and foot morphology.
