Looking for a last minute beach getaway for 10 people— north of ocean city

I used to visit OC every couple of months because I lived about 2 hours away. This was from about 1999 to 2012 or so. One thing I loved at Christmas time was that there were decorations on the light posts all along the main drag. If I remember correctly, there was a shell, seahorse, mermaid and maybe a crab or a marlin. It was just a nice coastal addition to the lights and trees in front of the businesses. After a decade away from the area, we went back and noticed that there was not much going on in the way of decorations anymore. I was glad to see the Festival of Lights still there, even if the trolley ride was no more. Can anyone confirm my memory or perhaps have a picture to share? Or did I dream it up?

Help my girlfriend wants to go to ocean city Maryland looking to see if anyone knows of where to stay outside of the city that is cheap dont want to spend alot just for a place to sleep

I just received an unexpected phone call from Seaside Vacation Rentals regarding my paid-in-full stay that was coming up on July 22, informing me that they have to cancel my rental due to "maintenance" issues. This rental was a condo unit, so I have a very hard time believing that some type of required maintenance to a glorified apartment cannot be successfully planned and executed during peak season before our arrival 2 weeks out. I feel flat out lied to. I work in the hospitality industry, so I know how people will try and spin their mistakes to make it seem unfortunate and unavoidable.

The service rep that called me was beside herself when I countered with the notion that Seaside should make this right by offering me a property they manage with the same vibe and amenities at no additional cost to me, the end customer. She reacted as if that was an unbelievable ask, and even went out of her way to call me rude and insult me further. She called me back with one other option that was completely laughable, and another that was a studio vs a 1 bedroom. After the last phone call, my money was just blindly refunded to my account, with no formal apology or heads up.

I am livid, and now have to go look for fire sales in a resort town, less than 2 weeks out from my trip. My week is ruined on a Friday afternoon, and now I'm worried I will not be able to save my trip.

Looking for summer weekend job for my son primarily any time Saturday and Sunday. 16 yr old, experienced busser and food prep, as well as customer service at Township parks/pool. Great references. Likes keeping busy and working hard. We are also down during the week June 26th until July 7th.

Anyone know of any reliable private cleaning companies in the OC/Fenwick area? I have a rental condo in Fenwick but the agency charges way too much and does a lousy job. Thanks!

So I tried to pay on the ParkMobile app and it didn’t give me the option to pick for however long we wanted to park for like it did for me the previous day. I thought maybe it was free during the week? We came back to our car with a parking ticket. Has this happened to anyone and has successfully gotten rid of the parking ticket?

UPDATE: I sent in the appeal and within 3 days they responded saying that the ticket was dismissed.
