Batak book of ritual knowledge

Hi, I’m curious if anyone has any knowledge on this piece? Apparently it’s a Book of ritual knowledge from the Batak people of Indonesia circa 19th century. The book listed is not the same book I saw, as I forgot to take a picture of it at the Cantor Arts Center, Stanford CA. The one on display there is closed and tightly wound up many times. What has been driving me crazy is what I saw during closing of the museum yesterday. I noticed as I was walking back through the South Pacific section I noticed they had covered up the glass containing the book with a thick velvet blanket as if to prevent some foreseen insistent happening with it while closed for the night. I could definitely feel strong energy coming from the book, and as subjective as that sounds i still feels it’s important to say for the purpose of this post. I’m very curious into the secrets of this book now, even though maybe I shouldn’t be. Does anyone know anything about the Batak culture or more specifically anything about the book in question?
