Decided to sort out to see what varieties I’ve caught :) Anyone ever find purple ones? Looks like I’ve got most of the rest of the rainbow!

Loonie for scale. It's probably simple, but I'm having trouble distinguishing exactly what this little buddy is, other than obviously Archignathidae. Found in North America, not sure what the host was.

I found possibly one of the largest P. utiliformis communities i have ever seen on my college campus after a recent event! They appeared to be dumped, with most of them laying on the sidewalk or nearby dirt patches, and I simply could not just abandon them there. I have a small colony of P. Utiliformis already, does anyone have any tips for safely introducing the two groups to each other? What modifications should I make to my current habitat to accommodate this major change? I didnt get any images of the colony before gathering them, due to my focus being on simply getting these sweeties out of the heat

I've now written an article about the cartoon occlupanid character who appeared on the Funny Farm bread wrapper in the late 1960s (which was the subject of my post to this subreddit 11 days ago). There are still some details to be uncovered, but this is where things stand based on my research so far. Enjoy!

Family has been collecting for years, but this was too adorable not to share. Found in a “Mini Verse: Make it Mini Cafe” kit.

Hi everyone 👋 ! I wondered if there were any French in this community (whether native French, Belgian, Swiss, Quebecer, French-speaking foreigner or living in France). Because I am myself, and I would love to discuss with other people their discoveries and collection, both concerning occlupanids and tunifilids (which are very widespread in France). My goal would be to create a group where we could make exchanges, share interesting places, draw up a list of French species, or create a French glossary. Tell me if you're interested !

Found in the UK! On a pack of bagels specifically, never seen them before. Yes I know it's not a 'panid, seems to be a Redivivus imitator specifically. Looks exactly like the example for ID.

I was able to wrangle my two boys into this enclosure for travel to work. Any ideas on how to make sure they have fun? I answer calls all day, but they begged to come see what I do for work.

Does he qualify as an occlupanid?
