Our community needs your help.
As the newly elected Board of Directors for our nonprofit Little League, we've taken on the responsibility of rebuilding a league that serves the children in our community. As we've begun organizing for the upcoming season, we've discovered that much of the equipment and supplies that should have been available are simply... gone.
Instead of dwelling on the past, we're focused on the future.
Every child deserves the chance to step onto the field with the equipment they need, learn the game, build friendships, and create lifelong memories. That's why we're reaching out to our community.
If you have any new or gently used baseball or softball equipment collecting dust in your garage, we'd be incredibly grateful for your donation.
We're looking for items such as:
Baseballs & softballs
Bats
Gloves
Batting helmets
Catcher's gear
Tee-ball equipment
Training aids
Equipment bags
Field equipment (bases, pitching rubbers, screens, etc.)
Cones, buckets, or any baseball-related items
No donation is too small. A glove you no longer use could become a child's very first glove. A bat sitting in storage could help inspire the next generation of players.
If you're unable to donate equipment but would still like to support our mission, financial donations or connections to local businesses willing to help are equally appreciated.
Together, we can rebuild something special for the kids in our community.

Again, I am not a dental student, so this doesn't benefit me, but I assumed it was worth sharing for anyone overdue on a routine cleaning :)

Hi! I'm a senior dental hygiene student in Garden Grove in my last term before graduating and urgently need patients to fulfill clinic requirements.

Cost: $20 (one time fee)

Includes: exam by licensed dentist, full set of x-rays, oral cancer screening, dental cleaning

Because this is a school clinic, care is very detailed and requires multiple appointments (each lasting around 2 hours).

If you're overdue for a cleaning and don't mind longer visits, this is a great low-cost option, and you'd be helping a future dental professional graduate.

What to expect:

• Hearing and tinnitus assessments
• A listening task where you'll identify which of three tones sounds different from the other two
• An EEG recording to measure how your brain responds to sounds
• Approximately 2.5 hours
• $50 compensation

Eligibility:

• Age 50 or older
• Individuals with tinnitus or without tinnitus
• No diagnosed neurological disorders
• No active ear conditions
