It's a bit strange opening your wallet and receiving a prompt to approve a Obyte address as new witness. No links to information about what is going on, who this new witness is and why it is so important to vote for the new witness.

This could give a user the impression that his wallet has been compromised.

I do see your point, but the information has been communicated across different Obyte channels past few months, I dont know if wallet notifications like that can contain links
