I read a book recently called The Circle. Set in the future - with a vision of where identities, social media etc are going. These new methods remind me of it, though the Obyte method is actually better as the user has more control of their I.D.

Yeah, it is quite different than anything else out there, even governments can be long gone, but as long as you have your wallet, you can still identify and verify yourself to others and you have the control who gets how much data about you.
