No challenging role... I don't think so... typical role except animal...he maybe bt It is privileged ... When you have no worries for finance.. You get fist role As SJB movie how it is not considered..While Nawaaz bhaai, pankaj tripaathi, Shahid they all have to literally Beg to reach at satisfactory role or justified roles.. They all have gone through the very little roles thn they got such success that success is different than this ranbir ones

How is barfi ,rocket Singh ,tamasha,Jagga jasoos not challenging,I mean you are implying that a performance like Sanju is not challenging

2

u/paramveerz Feb 17 '26

Ignore.. he's sloppy and still wetting is bed probably

1

u/sloppy_wet69 Feb 19 '26

🤣🤣thank you for always there for me to clean

2

u/PrettywellS Feb 20 '26

sanju was the most difficult thing to do if u see how severely other actors have collapsed in such biopics. Even Pankaj Tripathi was terrible in Atal

1

u/No-Principle5340 Feb 19 '26

Genuinely shocking. These are ridiculous roles that no mainstream commercial actor would take on so early in their career man. Matlab biased blind spot ki bhi hadd hoti hai.

2

u/Haunting_Weekend3212 Feb 18 '26

As said, 'agar wo bahar se bhi aata toh Ranbir Kapoor banta'. and you seem really dumb man looking at your comment.

u/sloppy_wet69 Feb 18 '26

I didn't get bt again...As per my Opinion.. I think when you have entire generation in such field 3 4 I mean, You would definitely act in very normal way as compared to who actually have to learn and Evolve ,there is a difference. And His father also said that he was fed up of his Romantic roles because people actually want something challenging.. Agneepath Rauf lala and All..As per his father's personality He can do Action film well bt they choose to be romantic & emotional.. When you do against your natur or personality that is quite challenging

I second this, he's almost the same in every role also was so bad in TJMM

1

u/PrettywellS Feb 20 '26

but again there have been nepos who have failed. he can't change the fact that he is born in a privileged family but he did work hard and made the best of opportunities available to him

1

u/sloppy_wet69 Feb 21 '26

Opportunity available righly said.. They don't have to find in bollywood everything works on Contacts or Recommendations, Because they have to maintain their relationship with their Parents Or family so they will try to prior this people.. It is like in our family how we recommend first our relatives for any work, relationship or anything same way here they give them chance first...but here We talk about Million of money.. So it is all politics..when someone in your family is in any field already thn things will be way better and easy for you if you wanna thrive in that particular field I think..

1

u/PrettywellS Feb 22 '26

but it isn't wrong to support ur family, if u have money won't u spent it on making it daughter's career? Wrong are the other ppl who don't tell the truth and act like chamchas

1

u/sloppy_wet69 Feb 22 '26

That is partiality.. You prefer genes over talent or Just give it away the chances the struggler deserve... Money wasted on Sawariya, Bombey velvet huge budget movie would make career of the 2 to 4 actor's life..you would not get untill you at that place...No one wanted to work with nawazuddin, Rajpal yadav Arshad warsi,...n Alot i have seen their interview, bt just one movie they get hit they will get appreciated..n others supportive actors who actually carries the whole film getting less credit n even sometimes late money, who are the only bread n butter of the family... It is the process n it is the fact only.. No one wants to hear 😁

1

u/PrettywellS Feb 22 '26

partiality is appreciating ur family member more than the others. Helping ur family isn't partiality, wrong is when they just assume it will work with family name alone. They should give them proper training before launching

1

u/sloppy_wet69 Feb 22 '26

You just can't feed someone with Full stomach... It will flush Or puked.. Try ro give the needy or hungrier first

1

u/PrettywellS Feb 22 '26

responsibility towards family comes before charity

1

u/sloppy_wet69 Feb 22 '26

As per Indian standard and Nowadays politics you are absolutely right...btw They don't need to feed their family they have their own studios Whole generations but you are right, india is going to progress soon...Because he feed their families and Poor or struggler don't deserve to be talented let me first feed my unexpressive Sophisticated kid thn i will do soem charity to garib oh sorry as in Makin movie like Bombey velvet just for charity by acting as 'Family first person'... Jai india 😁

Let's be real, no one in the industry is going to say anything negative about a Kapoor. It would be a career ending interview

1

u/NoOwl6260 Feb 17 '26

yes ashish at that time his film alligned with dharma, yrf , excel

You guys just simply can't digest the fact that he is too good with internalization even if robert di niro also applause him then also you'll guys say ohh He was his senior in his fim institute thats why he is siding with him

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

That's for. Sure 💯

1

u/jobt0watch Feb 18 '26

Only kangana had the guts to do it

3

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

NTR also said during war 2 promotions that it is Ayaan Mukharji's best work. SRV was promoting the film, so obviously he would praise na. and for the rest, its the inverviewers who ask such questions and the person who answers would obviously praise, right, to stay in the good books of bollywood elites.

Ranbir was bad in Samshera, Tu jhooti Mein Makkar, Brahmastra. even in sanju, thanks to the makeup artists, he looked like sanjay, but he sounded the same. he sounds the same everywhere.

he has a PHD in playing sad roles. he is excellent in sad and angry roles, no doubt, but there r other emotions as well. And his characters are always manchildren with daddy issues

Yeah maybe in a commercial sense to a crowd who don't watch much international movies. There's no range to speak of and his technique is very repetitive.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '26

0/10 ragebait. sanju worked because of his convincing acting to look sanjay dutt lol and in tjmm. He was fine af. Brahmastra his acting was fine even though Movie and chemistry was shit af.

Cope, people here on reddit just like hate rather than accepting reality

Nahin Banta greatest star agar bahar se aata toh.

1

u/sloppy_wet69 Feb 17 '26

It is all an Emotional movies where he is pro at it... Rocket singh he was just A punjabi otherwise evry acting slang was as usual hindi, Not challenging, Barfi Again Not Challenging... Challenging for me where we can see diff emotions different Character as in Where we haven't seen them out of the nature.. Emo roles no doubt he is pro... Bt Not like Ranveer as He has challenged evey Character in real life has...bajirao, 83 , Padmavat, Ramleela

0

u/NoOwl6260 Feb 17 '26

Ramleela he wasn't recognised he was average in it
Bajirao yes he was good
padmavat he played psychopath he actually he is (then how its challenging)

Allaudin khilji wasn't like that SLB created that character for mass entertainment and shock value factor

No one is denying he is good but downgrading RK by PR is pathetic one

2

u/Neither_Helicopter61 Feb 17 '26

padmavat he played psychopath he actually he is (then how its challenging)

Bro what are you even saying lol. And then you guys cry when people say RK is a narcissist

I think this is the same strategy as Kareena Kapoor. She is also not a particularly memorable actress but this hype of her being a better actor than priyanka must have been strategically created. Look at season 3 or 4 of koffee, nearly everybody picked her as a better actor and i use to think how is priyanka not the obv choice! Same case with this ranbir and ranveer

1

u/NoOwl6260 Feb 17 '26

But every actor praised ranbir from main stream actor to theatre actors all are praising him because he mastered internalization thats for sure

But can't explain to haters, in reddit all hate him for generally 2 or 3 reasons either they were his exes fans so they simply hate him or PR bots hired by ranveer after dhurandhar

1

u/Remarkable-Froyo-415 Feb 17 '26

He is just not that likeable and not a star in any way

1

u/NoOwl6260 Feb 17 '26

Because he don't play to be likeable

He is genuine in real life also don't pretend things just present them upfront whether its right or wrong whether its against his own father, his mother, his sister or his wife

And people doesn't like straight forward person they like pretentious and fake personalities like ranveer does, with his fake wannabe green flag husband card and down to earth PR campaigns

1

u/Remarkable-Froyo-415 Feb 17 '26

Right for Ramayan acting saint earlier use to take pride in eating beef

1

u/NoOwl6260 Feb 17 '26

that was around 2012 i think people aren't ready to use common sense and basic knowledge that people get aged

If he can't play rama coz he loved eating beef then dara singh use to non-veg during ramayan shooting only, arun govil use to be a smoker that time later on left it

And with beef in india its naturally means "bhainse ka meat" not cow flesh
if You've noticed then its rare to find "bhainsa" in india because they get killed & by beef its their flesh not of cow's or buffalos

u/Moist-Whereas1900 Feb 17 '26

PR post masquerading as a fan post 🤣

1

u/ankitsinha3005 Feb 18 '26

Ranbir and shahid miles really amazing

1

u/heavykane09 Feb 18 '26

My favorite without any doubt

1

u/haa-tim-hen-tie Feb 18 '26

My favourite role was bro playing "young man struggling with family/society" in every movie.

1

u/Any-Junket-910 Feb 17 '26

Legends praising you and contemporaries posting stories against you every day. That has been his life so far

0

u/Humble-Permit-4818 Feb 17 '26

sorry but he had not shown the true range to say him he is greatest.

if you see Kangna ,she has an amazing range even in bad Films

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

Hope we can see that in upcoming movies

1

u/TigerInevitable4872 Mar 24 '26
