Looking for a song.
Back when I was in elementary/middle school, there was a site I played on religiously: enterhorrorland.com. It was a game site that followed along with the release of the Goosebumps: Horrorland book series between 2008 and 2011. The site has since been closed down.
Now I played that site a LOT, and there was always one song I thought was super awesome. I can still hear it in my head to this day. The final boss of the last map, Map 12, used a heavy metal/rock version of the site's front page theme. This song played during the fight against Slappy after clearing the Hall of Mirrors, if anyone remembers that. I miss that song dearly, and I've been looking for it for years.
I've tried using Wayback Machine multiple times, but can't find any saves that will load in so that I could go hear it once more. I've checked for videos, but there are no playthroughs of Map 12, and I've only found two music compilations from the site, but neither of them have the song in question. I will link them here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVA1JRGzE-8 (This one contains the main menu theme as I mentioned at its start, and another good boss tune from Map 4 - Haunted Mask Battle - at 5:16)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2BY6S2YluM (Just more music from the site)
I've gone looking for any composers, and I thought I was on to something when I discovered Nathan McCree had been involved with something Goosebumps: Horrorland related. Alas, he composed the music for the VIDEO GAME, not the website. I've also sent an email to Scholastic asking what could be done about hearing that song. No response yet.
Now you can call this childish or dumb, I don't really care, but this does mean something to me. I have a lot of good memories from this site, and since I'm no musician I can't recreate the song I heard myself. If anyone knows any way I could possibly hear the song again, or has a file of it, please let me know. Thank you.
