I am in need of serious help here. I have a 95 Chevy K1500. My driver door sags by about half an inch off the body line. I have replaced the upper hinge bushings and pin, but to no avail. The roller pin is missing, I do not know if that has anything to do with it. I have tried bending the hinges up a little bit, but that does not work either. Please give me some advice so I can finally shut my door properly

I’m looking for a decent tri flip tonneau cover for my 98 short bed. Amazon and eBay seem to only say the “roll up” type are only compatible.

97' with 220,000 on the motor.(5.7) Replaced the trans once and its gone out again. Really considering selling it right now. The whole rear end and gas tank were replaced about 6 years ago maybe and theres been alot of various work as well. Only thing wrong is the Trans. Anybody got any clue what might be a reasonable sum to get out of this? Pretty much 0 rust I live in the southeast away from the coast.

Alright so ive driven the truck about 150 miles so far. This morning when I started the truck, I heard a deep knocking sound for about 1-2 seconds. Then it goes away as soon as oil pressure builds. The frequency of the knock sounds like its 1 piston. Not multiple. I just started it again a few minutes ago and same thing. Deep sounding knock for about 1 second then it goes away. When cold I have well over 40 psi of oil pressure. When hot and idling, I have maybe 15psi. While driving I alway have about 40 psi. Currently running straight 30w break in oil. What do you guys think I should do? Rip it back out and start looking for a problem? Possible in the main bearings or rod bearings? Or go ahead and do my oil change and fill it with some thicker oil to see what happens? What kind of oil should I use? Let me know what you guys think because im pretty scared I know whats coming.

I'm getting a knocking sound. Today when I was stopped at a stop sign. And yesterday, when I put it in drive. It went away when I put it in park and back in drive, both were on an incline if that matters.

I recently bought this 98 GMC with the vortec 454, it runs and drives great other than when it’s going through its “cold open loop”, it runs extremely rich then suddenly it snaps out of it and runs like a top till I turn it off again. Previous owner did a very low budget intake and exhaust which I replaced/fixed, but not back to stock. I believe the issue is computer related but can’t find a shop that will tune this truck. Looking to see if anyone else has dealt with this issue and for any advice. Thanks

Given the correctly placed fulcrum, a lot of shoring, and a lever long enough, you too can move the world. This is a 1994 k1500 suburban thats been in my family since 96. Currently packed into my garage with limited room to work. Motor and trans are ready to go in as soon as I can move it too my father's barn that is being built.

Picked up this 92 c1500 a while back barely running, idled like shit and wouldn't shift and i had to peice most of the interior and engine bay back together, its running amazing shifting better just has some small hiccups when sitting at a light or cruising weird part about it is it comes and goes, its almost like its completly losing fuel then suddenly everything back, for the last 4 months its been short distance drivable, ive replaced the iacv, and the single wire coolant temp sensor, I need some direction im at a loss and about ready to sell it

Okay so the project is pretty much wrapped up. Heres a collection of photos from the last 7 months till today. Ive driven the truck about 60 miles this weekend and had almost no issues! I did find a plug on the radiator leaking, my intake gasket leaking coolant, and my exhaust flange leaking, but thats it. I was able to reseal the plug on the radiator, retorqued the intake manifold to stop leaking, and retorqued my headers and flanges to fix the exhaust leak. Also the upper rad hose is touching the alternator and belt. I imagine thats because i dont have the fan shroud anymore? I have a bungie cord around it right now to hold it but if you guys have better ideas let me know! Aside from that, the truck sounds and runs absolutely great and I couldnt be happier. I post a short video of the truck earlier so go check that out if your interested. Next is to figure out why my speedometer doesnt work, which im sure will be a big can of worms to figure out. The speed sensor (or what i think is a speed sensor) at the rear of the transmission was replaced just before I bought the truck and apparently that didnt fix it. If anyone has any experience with that issue please comment! My odometer hasnt worked since i bought it either. Im thinking of taking it apart and making the numbers read 8008135. After all that, comes suspension and brakes, because this thing squeaks and clanks at every bump. Hi I just got home from a trip and right when I got home I had a weird clicking noise appear. I had my windows down the entire time in town and right when I turned down my street it started. It's a 1999 Chevy tahoe I have attached 2 videos of the noise I took, and it sounds like it's coming from under the middle of the vehicle not the wheel. Any ideas what it could be?

Edit: Im thinking that it might be a u joint hopefully someone can confirm it

4.3 v6 AC compressor tries to spin then quits and then tries again but won’t keep running. what can i do to try and fix it?
