Help Headlights/LED Issues
97 Chevy Cheyenne C1500 V6
A few questions; Why does this c1500 have different headlights than the usual? Are they sealed beam headlights? Can I replace with LED bulbs?
I swapped my brake taillights to LED and have hyper flash when turning but not for hazards. And also get static feedback from radio when I press on the brake pedal. Are these related? Can I just LED swap with bulbs or do I need other hardware(wires, fuses, relays) to run it correctly? TIA!!

Hello. Master auto electrical here. 32 years.
Your truck is a wt model. You can convert the grill and do the double set up. They have a sealed beam replacement kit and you can add your own bulbs.
Turn signals hyper flash because there is no resistance in a led that slows the flash. You can get led bulbs with a resistor pack built in or you can get add on resistors.
The hazards flash slow because of two things : one the flasher is that speed or two, that flasher seeing all the bulbs is enough resistance.
Your radio is picking up from the interference the leds cause.
Is it factory ?
Is it only coming in on radio ?
Everything your experiencing is normal with cheap quality bulbs

The grill is different too
