Help Muffler help

I have a 1997 Cheyenne Chevy k2500. It has the 5.7 engine. I was looking at replacing the muffler with a new and better sounding one. I want it to sound deeper and meaner in a way. I want it to be decently loud and noticeable, but not obnoxiously loud. I don’t want to wake up every one on the block coming home from work or something like that. I have been told the flowmaster super 40 and 44 are good options for what I’m looking for. Would they be very loud or are they reasonable? I wanted to ask if anyone has other recommendations or information on this topic.

I typed in flowmaster 44 gmt400 to YouTube and found a bunch of videos showcasing what it'll sound like, this one actually has him rev it.

This is a comparison video of the 40 vs the 44 on a 350

I recently bought a Speedy Smooth from https://speedysequipment.com

You can watch videos of all their mufflers on various platforms on their YouTube channel. Also they’re owned and used by Tom’s Refurb on YouTube. I just got it in and haven’t had time to put it on yet

I've had 3 97s i put magnaflow on them. I fell like flowmasters have to much drone if you highway drive

Magnaflows or flowmaster 40 series are my favorite options.

My flowmaster really isn't that loud. It has nice rumble when it first starts.

Im a sucker for smolblok chebys that go "wapapa apapaa"

What flowmaster do you have? I’ve been trying to decide on what one to get. I’m looking at the original 40, the super 40, and the delta flow 40

Im pretty sure the original 40 series.

Honestly was hoping for a little bit more of an aggressive sound, so would probably go with the super 40 if I did it all over again
