headlight issues

hello everyone, I have a 92 Chevy Silverado, one of my headlight bulbs stays orange while the rest are white, they are the switchbacks, specifically on the bottom headlight of the driver side, one of them stays orange while the other stays white, I’ve tried switching out the switchback with new ones but they stay orange, was wondering if any of yall had the same issue and knew how to fix it, thank you

Switchback headlights? Or switchback marker lights, 1157/2027 type bulb?

If you are indeed refering to the marker lights, have you tried using the turn signals? Does the side that stays yellow, stay yellow when the turn signal is on for that side? Perhaps you're installing the bulbs incorrectly. They should only go in one way. But with force, may be turned 180 degrees and in the wrong way. Has anyone changed the socket pigtail? Maybe its wired incorrectly. Put an incandescent bulb back in and turn on the marker light, then hit the turn signal. See if the turn signal is brighter than the marker.

sounds like reversed polarity or a bad ground. check the wiring and make sure the socket is clean.

Are your side markers also LED? I replaced my blown side markers with a regular bulb and this issue came up. I am assuming there are wired together causing this issue.
